Best practices include:
- Understanding that multitouch does not equal to a mouse
- Safari body is clipped to the iPhone screen
- Safari supports those standards: HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0, CSS 2.1 and partial CSS 3.xx, JavaScript 1.4 -- including DOM support, AJAX technologies -- including XMLHTTPRequest.
- Use of specific phone features such as:
- link to call a number: <a href="tel:1-408-555-5555">1-408-555-5555</a>
- link to google map: <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?q=cupertino">Cupertino</a>
- How to detect iPhone browser with the following User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/1A543a Safari/419.3
- Specify an iPhone-only CSS with: <link media="only screen and (max-device-width: 480px)" href="iPhone.css" type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" />

Il décrit les règles de développement pour obtenir la meilleure intégration possible de vote application à l'iPhone. Et on y découvre :
- Qu'il est important de comprendre que le multi-touche n'est pas identique à une souris
- Que Safari « clippe » le body HTML à l'écran de l'iPhone
- Que Safari supporte les standards suivants : HTML 4.01, XHTML 1.0, CSS 2.1 et partiellement CSS 3.xx, JavaScript 1.4 -- DOM inclus, la technologie AJAX -- XMLHTTPRequest inclus.
- Comment tirer avantage des spécificités de l'iPhone, comme :
- Le lien vers un appel téléphonique : <a href="tel:1-408-555-5555">1-408-555-5555</a>
- Le lien vers une carte google maps : <a href="http://maps.google.com/maps?q=cupertino">Cupertino</a>

D'après ce que j'ai pu entendre, il est fort probable que l'iPhone sorte en France bien avant le Canada. Veinards! |

From fbrunel:Héhé  . Il est clair qu'ici aussi on attend avec grande ferveur que ce bijou soit disponible. Et d'après nos informations, Orange aurait emporté l'affaire.Boursomac se prépare à tourner sous l'iPhone. Une première passe a déjà été réalisée... Donc si vous avez des iPhones, merci de nous communiquer les feedbacks et/ou remarques pour améliorer le site sur iPhone. |
